For me, training isn\u2019t just about giving cues or running through exercises. Real progress happens when humans and dogs understand each other \u2014 emotions, needs, rough edges and quirks. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Also, training shouldn\u2019t feel complicated or overwhelming. That\u2019s why I offer solutions that fit your lifestyle and actually work long\u2011term. No two dogs are the same, and no two humans are either \u2014 so training shouldn\u2019t be one-size-fits-all.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

My approach is rooted in modern science, and I stay up to date through continuous learning. I want training to feel good for both you and your dog. That\u2019s why I don\u2019t use leash jerks, intimidation, body blocks, or scolding. I truly believe that force\u2011free, needs\u2011oriented training works for every dog \u2014 from the family companion to rescue dogs with a past. Especially for dogs that are labeled as \u201cdominant,\u201d \u201cstubborn,\u201d or \u201cdifficult.\u201d <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

Why I became a dog trainer<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. While I was still in school, I managed to convince my parents to welcome a dog into our family. Professionally, I initially chose a different path and became a lawyer. Still, I always knew a dog would be part of my life one day. Long before that day came, I was already binge\u2011watching training videos and imagining what life with my future dog would look like.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

And then Alma came into my life.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Alma ist kein Hund, der sich einfach nahtlos vom Tierheim in Spanien in mein Hamburger Leben einf\u00fcgte und ruhig mit mir in Caf\u00e9s chillt. Alma hatte – \u00dcberraschung! – eine ganz eigene Pers\u00f6nlichkeit, einen Koffer voller Problemchen und hielt von Stand Up Paddeling und Caf\u00e9-Romantik trotz aller Welpen-Ratgeber und Trainingsvideos so gar nichts. Sie konnte nicht alleine zu Hause bleiben, hatte vor vielen Dingen Angst, war leicht zu stressen und ist bei Anblick von Kaninchen und Eichh\u00f6rnchen schreiend an der Leine hochgesprungen.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Alma hat mir gezeigt wie wichtig es ist seinen Hund richtig zu verstehen. Dazu m\u00fcssen wir unsere Hunde erst einmal richtig sehen, mit allen Ecken und Kanten, Vorlieben und Eigenheiten. Mit Alma kamen viele Herausforderungen, die mich zusammen mit meinem ohnehin bestehenden Interesse f\u00fcr alles rund um den Hund dazu gebracht haben, mich im Rahmen meiner zweij\u00e4hrigen Ausbildung intensiv mit Hundetraining zu befassen.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Today, I understand her so much better \u2014 why she reacts the way she does, what she needs, and how to support her. My training motto is \"dog training with compassion and reason\" (roughly translated). While I aim to provide empathy driven solutions for both dog and human, I don't want to base my approaches on \"vibes\" or hearsay.
